Dance. Because we can.

There's this thing that I do - You might have noticed I have a weekly ritual at ZÖE. I dance.  And usually on Fluevog Friday. In, you guessed it, Fluevogs.

The big reason is this: it feels good to feel happy and dancing is good for the soul. And we could all use a blast of happiness no matter what is happening in our lives. Shaking your bootie can improve your mental health by boosting your overall happiness (... Dance party, anyone). It's a great cardio workout and can improve cardiovascular health, increase stamina, strengthen bones and muscles and stave off illnesses. It sharpens your mind and body and elevates the soul.  

The best part is anyone can dance. There are no reasons not to dance.  

I think what I love about dance is it is an ageless and timeless way to express our diva-ness.

Also I love the reaction to Jlo and Shakira's half time show at the Super Bowl . . .  and the question, 'is this the new 50?' What's new is we are kickin' it. However we want to. And that's the thing. 

On the eve of Fluevog Friday, tune into and check it out. Better yet, get up and dance.
