March is a Verb

Lynn Armstrong

March is a verb.  It's the season of new beginnings. Of new hope.  The earth warms underneath our feet. The sun shines a little brighter, a little longer every day.  This month we are celebrating the women of our lives, past, present and future. March is also the time for getting busy, and making good on the plans and promises of the new year.

ZÖE is an independent business that works to offer elevated fashion to our guests here in Regina and worldwide. At the core of our being is our commitment to a curated experience, entrepreneurship and community.

This month we are celebrating what it means to be a woman in the world, and the accomplishments of women.  We are honoured to represent women who are independently forging out a future through their vision to create.  Our designers are entrepreneurs, both established and emerging.  We will be joining other women entrepreneurs in the community to share in the conversation and represent our designers.

  • On March 8, we will be attending Chop Steakhouse Bar's International Day luncheon as a presenter bringing with us amazing pieces created by women designers and entrepreneurs plus offering guests an opportunity to win a $50 Gift Certificate. Plan to attend! We'd love to see you.
  • Later that evening we are pleased to participate in an International Women's Day Panel discussion hosted by Regina Downtown Business Improvement District about what it means to be a woman in business.  Register here
  • On Saturday March 9, you can find us at the annual Astonished gala, to help raise funds through our silent auction contribution.  The Big Sky Centre for Learning and Being Astonished Inc. (Astonished!) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in Saskatchewan in 2008 and was registered as a Canadian charity in 2011. Astonished! works in inclusive community to address barriers facing young adults with complex physical disAbilities (core members) by creating opportunities for teaching and learning, social, recreational and cultural engagement, and for employment and housing.

We're just getting started!

In the words of the amazing Nancy Sinatra, start walking.

 Lynn
